WATER TRAINING

Water Training is held at Lilydale Lake

when the weather is warmer.

All sessions commence at 10:00am with a briefing at 9:45am at Lilydale Lake.

Please ensure you are there before 9.30am to sign in and prepare.

Cost: Currently $10.00 per dog/handler team - cash only please

Please be there early enough to toilet your dogs (you must pick up after them),

get all your gear to the beach area, sign the attendance sheet

(everyone, both 2 and 4 legged, must be listed and adults need signatures).

Bring plenty of soft, easy to eat, training treats for your dog, water and snacks for yourself.

Dogs need to wear a flat collar as well as any other collar you use.

A long lead - 5-10m long, will be needed plus a floating bumper or water toy,

but if you're not sure what to get, we can discuss that on the day.

Hopefully we will have several dog life jackets there for those new to water training.

Handlers MUST wear a life vest and closed footwear (no thongs or open toe sandals)

when near or in the water.

Baby puppies are welcome and encouraged.

All experience levels are welcome.

Anyone is welcome to attend and watch, however to participate - you must be a club member.

Membership applications can be downloaded from this website.

We recommend that you get in touch with the club before attending water training

to confirm your participation, as our class sizes do often reach capacity.
